Great Tweeds and Plaids for Fall!

We're still enjoying beautiful, warm weather here in Edmonton, but customers definitely had fall fashion on their mind this past Saturday.  

A very popular style was the "Kajsa" in brown tweed that comes adorned with a vintage, gold-coloured brooch (each unique).  Also, the "Erik" (styled after a Cuban military style cap) made its debut in a beautiful burgundy and sage green plaid with a leather band or 3 buttons for detail.  I'll have more of both of these styles this coming Saturday.  

Also, a reminder that if an early-bird has bought the hat you were eyeing, you can always place a custom order with me at no extra charge.  Simply choose your size and style, then the fabrics you would like from my swatch book.  You can even decide how many buttons you would like, what colour buttons and what colour stitching.  The hat will be made within a week of your order and you can have it picked up, dropped off or mailed out.

Sugar Soul on City TV, Friday, August 15th!!

City TV (Channel 7 in Edmonton) is doing a live remote tomorrow morning at Melcor Park from 6:00 am 'til 10:00am.  They are featuring the Downtown Farmers' Market where I sell my hats every Saturday.  I'll be selling hats from Melcor Park, 102 Street and Jasper Avenue, after the telecast from 11:00am-2:00pm as part a Downtown Business Association function.  Come on by!

Also, if you mention that you saw me and my hats on TV when you shop this Saturday at the Downtown Market, you will get $5.00 off of any hat!  

New style, straight from the studio!!

Well, after many, many, MANY experiments, I have finally figured out the driver's cap or penny hat or whatever you call the old school hat that Brad Pitt wears!  It looks great snapped or open and loose.  Available in one size only for now  : )  .
