Happy Easter from Sugar Soul Studio!
Hope you are all enjoying a beautiful spring day like the ones we have been having in Edmonton. I've been taking a lot of my hand-sewing outside to do instead of staying in the studio. April is the month I work on new designs and stock up for shows in May.
Although you won't find me selling anywhere in-person this month, you can visit my online Etsy store or go and try some on at Sabrina Butterfly or Headcase Hats (links to all of these at the top of this page). After Portobello West in Calgary Mothers' Day weekend (May 8, 9, 10), the City Market opens up May 16th, downtown Edmonton at 104St and Jasper Ave. I'm super excited to set up my tent and sell my hats in the fresh air.
If you have never been to the City Market, you should check it out. Between the meats & produce, flowers, fashion, accessories, toys and housewares, it is a one-stop, everything-made-local shop. It's also a great place to bring your out of town guests this summer so they can get those made in Edmonton products to bring back home.
