Wow! What a lot of fun, Calgary! You came out in droves to the first (of what is sure to become many) Make It Craft and Art Show held November 6th, 7th and 8th at the Chinese Cultural Center. Jenna and Chandler Herbut, the wonder siblings, put their guerrilla marketing magic into action and made sure there was ample word on the street and in the media. This photo shows how busy my little booth got during the weekend. Somehow they got a picture of me not wearing a hat (how odd?!)-that's me on the left in a denim jacket.
Good news for Vancouverites-Make It is on THIS weekend. Edmonton, you'll have to wait just a few more weeks until December 11th to 13th at the Aviation Museum on Kingsway. I will probably just be there as a customer, though. To get your Sugar Soul hats (for yourself or for Christmas gifts) you'll need to come see me the first weekend of December at the Butterdome Gift and Craft Show at the U of A. It is a great place to get your Christmas shopping started, you get free re-entry during the weekend and I promise you, it is worth braving the crowds to check it out! The show will run:
