Give Handmade this Christmas

There are two more chances to buy a Sugar Soul hat from me in person before Christmas arrives. Tonight, December 17th, I will be setting up my wares at The Savoy, 10401 82 Avenue, for the last Handmade Mafia craft show of 2009. The show runs 7pm-10pm and comes complete with a DJ, drink specials and free mandarins and candy canes. Come support local crafters and give handmade this Christmas. (Please note that this is an 18+ event.)

On Wednesday, December 23rd, I will be set up at the Old Strathcona Farmers' Market from 8am to 3pm for their special just before Christmas market for all of you in need of a few last minute presents and organics for Christmas dinner. My faux fur aviators and slouch toques have been popular choices for presents this year as the sizing is not as much of a concern with these styles.

Sugar Soul Hats at the Handmade Mafia Dec.12th

"WOW!" is all I can say after such an amazing turn out at the 19th Butterdome Christmas Craft Sale! There aren't many places in the world where you would you find thousands of people braving a foot of fresh snow and -28C to go shopping. Thank you to everyone who came out and supported my little hat company with their praise and purchases. Keep your eyes open for all those new Sugar Soul hats walking around town (especially those new toasty warm aviator hats!).

If you missed me at the Butterdome, not to worry as there are at least 2 more chances to get a hat of your very own or for a gift. This Saturday, December 12th, you'll find me in the Orange Hall from 10am to 4pm for the Handmade Mafia. It is now FREE to get into and with its location right behind the Old Strathcona Farmers' Market, come on over after you have all of your veggies!

I will also be at the Handmade Mafia's Twilight Event on Thursday, Dec. 17th from 7-10pm at the Savoy on Whyte Avenue. Free entry, 18+, free candy canes and Christmas oranges (awesome!).

Butterdome Booth 609

BOOTH 609 is where you'll find me at the Butterdome over the next four days. Come and see my new slouch tuque (with or without bird appliques) and the super cozy aviators. Both make great presents as you don't need to worry about the perfect fit.

The Butterdome Gift and Craft Show at the U of A is a great place to get your Christmas shopping started. You'll get free re-entry during the weekend and I promise you, it is worth braving the crowds to check it out! The show will run:
